THE TIME OF YOUR LIFE
BY WILLIAM SAROYAN | THE FREDERICK LOEWE THEATER AT HUNTER COLLEGE, NOVEMBER 2017

The Armenian–American William Saroyan was thirty-one when he wrote one of the greatest of America’s plays. It’s set in a seedy San Francisco waterfront bar, and is populated by a few dozen diverse eccentrics. Outside Nick’s bar, war looms. Outside, the rich are getting richer – and the hell with everybody else. Outside, the whole world is falling apart. Inside, the creative spirit finds a way to survive.
